County Hospital Holds Numerous support meetings.

Women
who have experienced breast cancer, guest speakers,
and trained professionals provide support and
solutions to problems. The group meets on the
third Monday of every month at 7 p.m. at Maury
Regional Hospital. For more information, call

Caring
and Sharing is a support group for persons facing a
life threatening illness. The members share
and provide support. The group includes
family members and support persons. They meet
the fourth Thursday of every month at Maury
Regional Hospital at 5 p.m. for a Dutch treat
supper. For more information, call

"Heart
to Heart" support group provides an emotional and
educational outlet for patients and their families
who have had open heart surgery or other heart
diseases. They meet monthly at 6 p.m. at local
restaurants. For monthly details, call 380-4065.
The
National Multiple Sclerosis Society will host a
broadcast over the Internet each third Thursday.
They will present a different topic each program
for people affected by MS. The programs are one
hour and begin at 8:30 p.m.
Individuals
diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis meet to share and
learn more about their health options and gain new
insight about their disease. They meet the
fourth Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at
the Maury County Senior Citizens Center. No
summer meetings are held from May through

The
breast cancer support group that meets on the third
Monday of each month will meet at Maury Regional
Hospital at 7 p.m. For more information, contact

Persons
diagnosed with diabetes and their family members
join together to learn more about the disease and
its treatments. The group meets the first
Wednesday of each month at 11:30 a.m. at Maury
Regional Hospital. For more information, call

The
Ostomy Partners Support Group is for persons with
an ileostomy, colostomy, or urostomy and meets the
fourth Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. at Maury
Regional Hospital. Family members and friends are

The
RESPOND service, located at Maury Regional
Hospital, is a free assessment and referral service
for individuals and families who may be
experiencing emotional, behavioral or substance
abuse problems. RESPOND also acts as an evaluation
and referral service for area behavioral health
providers and other professionals. Anyone
experiencing difficulty in major life areas due to
emotional, behavioral or substance abuse issues
could benefit from this service. To speak with a

The
Healthy Weight Support Groups meets the 2nd Monday
of each Month. Visitors and members are welcome.

Who Care is a support group for those who have
experienced the loss of a child. Meeting

Overcomers
Outreach a Christian 12-step support group meets

Divorce
Recovery For Ladies-A Time for Healing will begin
meeting every Monday at First Baptist Church in

Insight
meetings are held the second Monday of each month
at the YMCA from 6:00 -7:00 p.m. Visitors and
members are welcome. Topics for discussion include
Grief Recovery, the Five Languages of Love, I'm
hurting, where's God? Each month, topics are
presented to touch our hearts and minds to live
victoriously. We discuss the Restore program, which
is a 12-step recovery program.
Alterra
Sterling House hosts an Alzheimer's Support Group
the third Thursday of each month. More information

Hope
& Healing is a ministry for sexual abuse
survivors. Various workshops are held every
Saturday at the old Spring Hill High School. For

TOO! is a national organization and support group
for men who have been diagnosed with prostate
cancer. The group meets on the last Monday of each
month at 7 p.m. at Maury Regional Hospital. Family

Anonymous meets at 7 p.m. each Tuesday at Craft
Methodist Church on Hatcher Lane. For more

Narcotics
Anonymous will meet every Tuesday and Thursday from
6-7 p.m. at Carmack Boulevard Church of Christ.
This group is for teens only. For more information,

Divorce
Care Class is at East Commerce Baptist Church in
Lewisburg. It will meet for 13 weeks every
Wednesday evening from 7-9 p.m. Divorce Care
features biblical teaching for recovering from the
pain caused by divorce.
